In 2018 she was a sole selected candidate from Thailand to perform a Theatre version of “Friend with Benefits” at Skylight Theatre Company in LA (in association with HI Immersive LA) and her short films were screened at Culver City Film Festival 2019, to name but a few.
Based in Los Angeles, she studied at The Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Insitute. However, Proud’s acting mentors were Carlton Byrd and Clint Jordan, the co-founder of the Open City Acting studio along where Victor Villar Hauser is also a co-founder.
Proud was first trained at Chulalongkorn University by Bhanbhassa Dhubthien, the only member of The Actor Studio, New York, who lives and teaches at one of the best drama schools in Thailand. Proud was also trained by M.J. Karmi who is also a member of The Actor Studio and an instructor at The Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Insitute.
While Proud was acting in Thailand, she embodied iconic roles such as Inès Serrano from No Exit play by Jean-Paul Sartre and Anna from the play, Closer, by Patrick Marber.
Proud was recognized as an actor who can also sing. She loves Martial Arts such as Thai Boxing, Taekwondo and sport such as Horseback riding, Gunmanship, swimming, and Yoga. Proud is also bilingual and speaks fluent English and Thai.
Proud’s passion is storytelling and humanism. Because of this, she used to work with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner of Refugee).
